I feel in love with this series when I read the first novel, Mafia Princess and when I saw that Dante was getting his own I jumped up and down for the chance off an ARC.

Dante was prepared to give up his life and his family for Layla Moore. Knowing that the world he is from wasn’t the life he wanted Layla to experience, he made plans for them he just didn’t expect Layla to leave.

After losing the love of his life, Dante has changed in this broken, cold and uncaring man but still in his heart and mind he knows that Layla will always belong with him regardless. Wanting answers from her, he sets out to get those answer. And what follows with change his and his siblings lives forever.

This book is filled with so many secrets that it will leave you feeling broken and lost. But even with the OMG moments and the twist and turns Bella J takes your on, it is a fantastic read and a great addition to the series. Bella J has a way of drawing in her readers and making them never want to leave the worlds that her words create.

I loved the edgy, gritting world that Bella J has created for this mafia world. She has written strong characters in each off the books within the series, and while they can be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading to help understand the background characters and their stories. This story is more action packed than the first one, which I kind of expected for Dante’s character, after all he is the Mafia Prince.

His character is shows great depth and you can relate to his heartbreak and his needs for answers. While Dante was a fantastic character, Layla stole the show for me. I cant give too much away without spoilers but I will say she is so strong and certainly has her demons, but ultimately she has a heart that is filled with love for Dante.

If you are looking for a mafia saga that offers plenty of action and romance, this is the series for you. Be sure to add both, Mafia Princess and Mafia Prince to your TBRList.
