This the very first book that I have read by Dylan Allen, and it won’t be the last. I was hooked from the beginning. This book will break your heart and then rebuild it for you.
This story revolves around the characters of Lilly and Harry. Both having experience hurt in their lives. Trust has been broken in ways which can change a person.


Lilly is portrayed as a strong, independent woman who has distanced herself from her family and relationships. In the story we learn how Lilly was hurt, her trust broken and left devastated.  Although she has distanced herself from her family, she is there for her sisters when they need her help. She holds a secret that is bursting to come out. A secret that not even her beloved sisters, the friends she once had or her mother no about.


Harry is a tall, dark and handsome man. Having travelled to Ghana on business, recovering from getting his heart broken. Like Lilly, he hides his feelings from friends and family. He never intended to find romance on a business trip, but something about Lilly draws him to her.


Can Harry help Lilly? What is her secret? Can a chance meeting change Lilly’s life for the better?


Release has lost of twist and turns, it will leave to you feeling emotional. I can say that this book as grace, Dylan Allen is able to write about a subject matter that has lasting consequences, for the individual but also their families.

Harry and Lilly’s story will anger and captivate you. Make sure to have your tissues reading.
