I’m getting really good at cutting my losses.
First, the husband. Divorcing him was the best decision I ever made. But between single-parenting and job-hunting, I can’t catch my breath. When a celebrity blogging position falls into my lap, I’m determined to succeed.
That is, until I get my first assignment and actually see Noah Frazier for the first time . . . practically naked and dripping wet. My heart races and I forget how to form complete sentences. His chiselled abs, irresistible smirk, and crystal blue eyes are too perfect to be real. So, what do I do? Get drunk and humiliate myself, of course.
I’m ready to forget the awkward night, yet Noah has no intention of allowing me to move on. Instead, he arranges for me to write a feature on him, ensuring a lot more time together. One embarrassing moment after another, one kiss after another, and before I can stop myself, I realize—I’m falling in love with him.
But when the unthinkable happens, can I even blame him for cutting his losses?
What I wouldn’t give for just one last time . . .

MyReadulterylife Review
I read Corinne Michaels’ One Last Time in one sitting. That just says it all. Corinne was able to draw this reader into the story that she weaved on the pages. This was a fantastic story filled with hope, promise and endless love.
Kristin has certainly seen and experienced the wars in her marriage. She has just left the emotionally abusive relationship and is currently fighting a nasty divorce. Her soon to be ex is a nasty piece of work. At any opportunity he belittles Kristin, knocking her confidence and making her feel worthless and undesirable. It’s a good job she has the strength to know that she and her children deserve better.
Kristin knows that her journey as a single mother isn’t going to be an easy one. But with the help of her best friends, she is able to find a place to live, a job and she is able to start working on finding that person she once was.
Kristin meets Noah, when she is assigned as a celebrity blogger in her new job.
Noah is a sweet, charming and sexy actor who is usually a private person. But as soon as he meets Kristin, he is more than willing to answer any questions she has. A splash in a pool and a few shots later both Noah and Kristin know that their chemistry is special.
Is Kristin ready to take a risk? Will Noah help Kristin come out of her shell?
What I enjoyed most about this book was the simplicity. It’s a beautiful story about a woman who has experienced abuse at the hands off someone who is meant to love her and her journey in rebuilding herself.
Kristin, is by far one of my favourite characters I have read in a book. The strength and courage that Kristin showed in the book was inspiring, to get back up once you have been knocked down time and time again shows how strong this character is.
I adored Noah. He is everything a worthy hero should be. He has a caring and charming nature that allowed this reader to fall head over heels with him. The way in which Noah helps Kristin to find the courage to take a chance on love was amazing to read and imagine.
Once Last Chance was a rollercoaster ride that captivated me!
