My Readultery Life Review

This is a very sweet love story, a friend to lovers, small town romance. Unlike most stories, this one is told from the male’s point of view. Which is extremely refreshing.

Lee, Beau and Masyn have been friends since kindergarten. They did everything and experienced life's key moments together. Beau came from old money, Lee was raised by his sweet widowed father and Mayson was the tomboy growing up. Of course, not everything always works out. People change, and expectations can create a whole load of problems.

Label Me Proud sees the relationship between Lee and Maysn change from friendship to lovers. I won’t tell you any spoilers, but I will say that Lee and Masyn are perfect for each other. Their relationship feels genuine and you can easy see that they belong together, its just takes them a while to realise. There is some sweet and sad moments but overall their chemistry is sizzling.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story, I was a new reader to Stephie Walls writing, but I’m sure I will be reading more off her novels in the future.

Although the story is based around Lee and Masyn's relationship, I enjoyed Beau! He was funny and showed that a man who is willing to accept responsibility for his actions.  Hopefully he will be given his own story, especially after the incident in this book broke his heart.

If you like sweet, small town romances, then this is the book for you.

***4 Stars

AUTHOR BIO

Stephie Walls is a lover of words—the more poetic the better. She lives on the outskirts of Greenville, South Carolina in her own veritable zoo with two dogs, three cats, the Mister, and Magoo (in no preferential order).

She would live on coffee, books, and Charlie Hunnam if it were possible, but since it’s not, add in some Chinese food or sushi and she’s one happy girl.
