My Readultery Life Review

WOW!! This story will have you feeling so many emotions, make sure to have your tissues ready. Whiskey and You is a slightly different story from HJ Bellus, in the sense that its not your typical hearts and flowers love story. More a pain and despair with the chance off love and happiness. I thoroughly enjoyed the ups and down off this story. It will break your heart and slowly rebuild it back, brick by brick.

JJ York is not your typical billionaire cowboy. If you cross JJ he is a force to be reckoned with. JJ wasn’t born into money, he had a rough start to life, not knowing when or if he would eat again created this strength and resilience which makes him deadly. Cross him, steal from him, then you’re just asking for trouble, especially from this cowboy. Of course, all great men have a weakness, but what will bring JJ to his knees? Could it be the payment he’s just received? Could love me JJ’s greatest weakness?

Navy is broken in so many ways. She has endured things that no human should experience especially from the hands off someone who is mean to love and protect you. Having just been ‘given’ as payment for her husband’s debt she doesn’t know what to expect from JJ. Can she trust him not to hurt her? Will she be returned to her husband?

JJ and Navy’s relationship will crack your heart open and expose you to their rawness.

I can guarantee that you will fall in love with JJ and Navy. As a bonus, the secondary characters, Kemp and Faye will make you fall in love with this story even more. Kemp is JJ’s childhood best friend and Faye is the mother figure that we all love, the one person who can hug you and make the world feel right.

HJ Bellus has a way with words, she can create a vivid picture that draws her readers into the story. This has been one off my favourite reads of the year so far! This will surely be in my top 10 for the year.

I can not wait to read Kemp’s story next.
