I am a complete newbie to Jacob Chance’s writing, but I am so glad I popped my cherry with Tussle. I was laughing, swooning and cheering for characters from start to finish.

Tussle is set in the world of wrestling, which in its self implies hot, sweaty men and strong independent women.

One her first day working for her family’s company, World Class Wrestling (WCW), Lilah Turner meets Jesse Gunn, an exceptionally charming and upcoming wrestler. Due to a strict no workplace fraternization policy, neither off the characters can act upon their desires. So, for three long years and countless attempts at a date, Lilah has been able to ward off Jesse’s advances.

That is, until an opportunity for Jesse to shine within the company, places Lilah in close quarters with him. All I can say is watch the sparks fly between these two. Lilah has no where to hide and Jesse certainly has the determination to get what he wants, and he wants Lilah. 

Can Lilah’s reasons for not dating Jesse stand the test of time? Or will the sexual tension between Jesse and Lilah ignite?

I adored both characters, Jesse has that alpha appeal with a touch of charm, which is extremely attractive. Lilah is full off sass and has a sweet caring nature that is shown throughout the book. Both characters help to balance each other out. Even the secondary characters help to enrich the story and provide many comical moments.

Tussle is a hilarious romantic comedy what will have you laughing out loud and sighing for Jesse and Lilah. Its safe to say this reader wants to be one of #JessesGirlz and is a new member to the #GunnClub.

When I finished reading Tussle and started researching Jacob Chance, I never expected to find out that he was a male writer. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve read a romance book written by a male writer. I have to say that the fact the writer is male, doesn’t take away from the book. I would have to say that it enhances the book. Jacob Chance possess the ability to write about characters that allow his readers to identify and relate to the characters within the story.

I am looking forward to reading more stories that have been written by Jacob Chance.
