He’s playing for the heart she’s had sidelined for years.

IVY HAYES

Dating can be a rocky journey. Once the new shine wears off, you may end up with a case of buyer’s remorse.

That’s where I come in. I set the backdrop and coach you through the breakup.

Don't want overblown drama, hard feelings, or a drink tossed in your face? Then I'm your fairy godmother, child.

BECKET JONES

As an NFL quarterback, endorsement ads and the media pandering after me are all part of the game.

Ivy Hayes is the first woman who doesn't care about my money and the notoriety that goes along with it.

But I'm a long-term guy, and she operates strictly in the now. Which means I need to bring my A-game.

Otherwise, I’ll end up getting ditched.

My Readultery Life Review

From beginning to end, this book was nothing short of perfection. I fell in love with the characters, from the very start. Having read a previous book of RC Boldt’s I had high expectations and she totally delivered another fantastic story.

Ditched takes us on a journey of trying to move forward in life but not being able to do because of their past. But if love is the main goal, they can and will get passed any obstacles thrown in their way.

Although this is a sports romance, it does allow those readers who don’t know enough about football to still read and enjoy the book. This story is a character enriched book that offers the readers some deep emotional moments, but these scenes are helped along with some fantastic light-hearted laugh out loud moments.

Let’s start with Beckett, this man made we swoony throughout the story. He is my favourite book boyfriend of the year so far, and although it is still early in 2018, I am confident that he will be in my top 10 book boyfriends. Becket isn’t your average NFL Quarterback, he is more humble and down to earth than most of his team mates and fellow footballers. I loved watching Beckett bringing his A-game to win over Ivy’s heart.

Ivy, broke my heart when I started reading this story. At first, I found her to be cynical and unlikeable but as you read more of the story you learn that she has her reasons. The walls that she has around her heart is high and wide made sense as you read more of the story. Her childhood was plagued with disappoint and not having experience being loved or shown affections had hardened Ivy’s heart. That is until she meets Beckett. Everything she every thought about love changes once she enters a relationship with Beckett.

Their journey starts off a bit unconventional and continues that way as they get to know each other. But through their journey together, Beckett some how finds a way to crack Ivy’s wall and burrow himself into her heart.

I thoroughly enjoyed their story. There is plenty of flirting, playful banter and the sexual chemistry is smouldering.

So, if you are looking for a fun quick read that will fill you heart and leave you wanting more, than Ditched is the story for you!

***** 5 Stars
