Cheeky King is everything I expected for the conclusion to Penny
and Sebastian’s story! Picking right up from where Cheeky Royal finishes. It
has the same fantastic flow and finally we get the HEA that we should always get
from Royal romances.
Cheeky King deals with the fallout off Penny and Sebastian’s
white lies. Unable to get over the fact that Penny lied to him Sebastian doesn’t
make things easy for Penny, when she is assigned to his personal guard. Penny
battles her need to be true to herself, questions whether being a royal guard is
for her or if her true calling is as an artist.
Even with obstacles and assassination attempts to deal with
the chemistry between Penny and Sebastian was strong. We are offered plenty of
angst and torment in this story, but it is so worth it.
I loved both characters from reading Cheeky Royal and it is
safe to say that I am even more in love with couple after finishing Cheeky
King.
I am hoping that we do get some lovely novella’s as a follow
up with this couple, I think some babies thrown into this relationship would be
rather cute to read and see how the couple’s relationship grows.
Cheeky King has the perfect combination of insane chemistry,
mystery, intrigue, secrets and betrayals. Be sure to add this series to your
TBR list, you won’t be disappointed.
