Take one dose of a
sexy physician, mix with an angsty pharmacist, and insert undeniable chemistry.
After one wild night in Vegas (and too much tequila), Everleigh finds herself
in bed with a man she can’t stand and a ring on her finger. It doesn’t
help that the man in question knows all the ways to push her buttons, even with
his lickable abs and chiseled chest. The life she’s built, with her secrets
locked up tight, is threatened when he decides he wants more than her in
his bed - he wants her heart.
Brooks had wanted the hot pharmacist from the first moment he saw her. Except she shoots him down at every advance, so he hands it over to fate. But fate doesn’t anticipate someone from Everleigh’s past intent on keeping her for himself.

My Readultery Life Review
Who doesn’t love
a good love battle? Where one party wants the marriage to work and the other
party is fighting their desires. This is what Coming Unraveled is all about.
Ever heard that
famous saying ‘What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas’? Well its safe to say
that Everleigh wants that to happen.
A few too many
tequilas and she finds herself married to Brooks McCafferty.
Throughout the
story Everleigh fights with Brooks, who is the new resident Dr in Carson NC,
her hometown. There is something about Brooks that pushes Everleigh’s buttons and
gets her riled up. All the damn time.
Not wanting to
give into her attraction to Brooks, Everleigh knows that she must get let go of
her marriage and make this man leave for good. She will and does whatever she
can to push Brooks away, believing that she will never be good enough for this
fine man. It was heart breaking to read Everleigh fighting her temptations. Surely,
she must realise that Brooks is perfect for her. Or will she allow her dark
secrets ruin her one chance at happiness? If she tells Brooks, will he see her
as a damaged woman?
Brooks
McCafferty knew from the first moment he saw Everleigh or even spoke to her, that
she was the one for him. There’s something about her that brings out this over
protectiveness in him that he has never experienced. As a man who keeps his promises,
he is willing to give this relationship a real fighting chance. But, Everleigh
is doing everything in her power to break everything they have. But a man on a
mission, a mission that is love, knows that he will have to do everything in
his power to make Everleigh see that he isn’t going anywhere, no matter how
hard she tries.
At first, I found
Everleigh to be mean and cold hearted, but as you read more of her story you
realise that she is so scared off having her heart and trust broken. She
carries some scars that she has buried from everyone. And not wanting to relive
her worst nightmare is making her cold and mean. Once I realised that her attitude
to Brooks was a defence mechanism I warmed up the character rather quickly.
I loved Brooks
character, although at one point in the story, I got so mad at him. I’m not
going to say much about it, other than I kind of got where he was coming from,
in a sense. He certainly has to have a lot of patience to keep on fighting for
want he wanted, so a little slip has to be forgivable.
So, if you’re in the
mood for some heroine angst and a alpha Dr, then this is the book for you

Author Bio
Renee Harless, her husband, and
children live in Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. She studied Communication, specifically
Public Relations, at Radford University.
Growing up, Renee
always found a way to pursue her creativity. It began by watching endless runs
of White Christmas- yes even in the summer – and learning every word and dance
from the movie. She could still sing Sister Sister if requested. In high school
she joined the show choir and a community theatre group, The Troubadours. After
marrying the man of her dreams and moving from her hometown she sought out a
different artistic outlet – writing.
To say that Renee
is a romance addict would be an understatement. When she isn’t chasing her
toddler around the house, working her day job, or writing, she delves head
first into a romance novel.
