My Readultery Life Review

Aurora Rose Reynolds is one of my one click authors, she has a way off allowing me to escape into her world and tag along the journey of each character she writes about. I am a huge fan off her ‘Until’ Series, so when I started reading her ‘Shooting Stars’ Series I knew each book would be a fantastic addition to my ARR collection.

One Last Wish is the third and final book in this series which can be read as a standalone, so don’t worry if you haven’t read the previous books. No matter which one you start with you can follow the storyline in each book and not feel like you not missing any background information.

In One Last Wish we get Aubrey’s aka Bre’s story and her life after the loss of her husband. The first couple of chapters set up the storyline, characters and drops us into the thick off things. Having read the blurb for the story, I was expecting lots of heartbreak, and while there is some, it does skip the dark and emotional journey that one experiences from the loss of someone they love. I soon realised that this story would be focusing on the growth of Bre’s character and Denver’s mission to make Bre his woman.

The only thing I absolutely love about ARR is her ability to write swoon worthy alpha males, ones that make your heart sing and protect you with his last breath. Denver has one regret in his adult life and that was allowing Bre to slip through his fingers. But when he is given the chance to make her his, he moves heaven and hell to prove to Bre that he is the right guy for her. And his love for Lyra (Bre’s daughter) stole the show.

Overall, this is a great easy second chance romance that will whisk you away for a few hours. While there is very little drama, I found that to be refreshing and allowed me to enjoy the story a lot more. A great addition to ARR’s collection.
